But he does not understand that the President is not a dictator or a king who can simply ignore the Constitution whenever he feels frustrated by the system of checks and balances wisely put in place by our Founders.

Why on earth would a law school have an adjunct professor teach Constitutional Law? It's a core lawschool class, not some elective you take at nighttime in your third year.
Which of those checks and balances are you whining about now? I can't think of anything he's done that hasn't already been done by presidents before him.
They weren't really in session, and it's the Senate's own dysfuntion that kept the appointment from coming to a vote. Not like the scummy way Bush appointed John Bolton, who the Senate had many reservations about appointing.

OP stole this from Ron Paul's facebook:
"It is disappointing that a former constitutional law professor does not understand that the President is not a dictator or a king who can simply ignore the Constitution whenever he feels frustrated by the system of checks and balances wisely put in place by our Founders.
I have opposed unconstitutional power grabs by Presidents of both parties throughout my Congressional career, and this consistency leaves me as the only Republican candidate with the credibility and the record to challenge President Obama on his continuous overstepping of his constitutional boundaries."
