When I was 12 or 13 there was a girl who lived a few streets away from me that was rumored to sell handjobs to guys for 20 bucks. I never got one, at the time me and my friends all thought it was a lie but a year later several guys confirmed it and she got in trouble for it once. I was a very naive high schooler. I was really into sports and watching movies with my friends. I knew girls existed, but had absolutely no idea how to go about getting them.
