Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil has gotten a lot crappier in the last couple of years. What other products have been downgraded?

I ran out of aluminum foil yesterday; my last roll had lasted a couple of years.

This new roll, which I just opened, has foil that's thinner and a lot flimsier than the last roll. So, sometime in the last 2 years, Reynolds Wrap went from being a quality product -- a top name brand, too -- to being total shit.

What other brands have cheaped themselves out recently? It's a sad phenomenon.

The quality of plastic has improved. It's now almost impossible to open anything in plastic packaging.

I have some 50 year old Tupperware containers I inherited from my Mom. Tupperware has always been a very high quality product. Will last literally forever as long as you don't microwave it or put it in the dishwasher.

I have a 46yo dick. Still works like a charm. Maybe not microwaving it or running it through teh dishwasher is the secret?

I have some gripes about products

1. Can't find good plastic toothpicks anymore
2. Bic metal razors are very hard to find
3. Fat free squeeze butter is nowhere to be found
4. Dr Schools Dyna steps are very hard to find
5. A fork that pushes through roast turkey can only be found at dollar stores

High end toilet paper (cottonelle) cheapened the quality. I had an old roll to compare with a new package. The paper was alot less soft, almost scratchy feeling. They somehow cut corners.

This is what companies do when producer prices increase, but they can't push through price increases.

There was an on-line conspiracy theory that Gillette starts using cheaper steel in their blades before introducing a new, more expensive product. I noticed that the Fusion blades last about half as long as they did when I first bought the razor.

Yeah, I found out about that around turkey day. Fuckers have like two versions of "heavy duty" foil now.
