The embargo is out dated, nor has it worked. We have foreign governments building a stronghold in Cuba 90 miles off our shore. Everything from oil drilling to capital investments. America's policy toward Cuba borders on insanity. All starte with oil, fidel wanted American owned refineries to refine Soviet oil, Treasury Dept said no. Fidel sized refineries, we stopped surgar cane impports, Fidel sized the rest, So the embargo started.
Aside from all that I can't get my favorite Cuban cigars so easily, or my Havana Club rum. So please end this idiotic embargo.
I'm not sure he's saying that the US is a sockpuppet of Israel, or if he is, then he's learnt a few things from Hugo Chavez in his old age.
Castro is very much a Jew lover - might even be a crypto-Jew himself.
I was in a bar in Cuba several years ago - and I saw this film of Yids in Yamulka celebrating Yom Kippur or whatever on television, and I was going to ask the dj why state television was running clips of fihy Yids, but I didn't (mainly because some obnoxious Brits wee hanging around that area).
The embargo has been pretty fucking worthless when you think about it. I mean, 40 years later, Castro is still standing, and Cuba is still communist.
Of course, it will never be repealed as long as Castro is alive, because Florida is an important election swing state and neither the Dems nor Repubs would want to do anything to fuck with the Cuban contingent in south Florida.
