exactly. when i first read that the family was silently praying and wouldn't comment, i thought, ok, at least they're humble and don't have an irresponsible attitude. but now it seems like they're just trying to fabricate more complex lies as time goes on as excuses for what looks like arson.
The four truths are presented within the Buddha's first discourse, Setting in Motion the Wheel of the Dharma (Dharmacakra Pravartana Sutra). An English translation is as follows:[web 3]
"This is the noble truth of dukkha: birth is dukkha, aging is dukkha, illness is dukkha, death is dukkha; sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and despair are dukkha; union with what is displeasing is dukkha; separation from what is pleasing is dukkha; not to get what one wants is dukkha; in brief, the five aggregates subject to clinging are dukkha."
"This is the noble truth of the origin of dukkha: it is this craving which leads to renewed existence, accompanied by delight and lust, seeking delight here and there, that is, craving for sensual pleasures, craving for existence, craving for extermination."
"This is the noble truth of the cessation of dukkha: it is the remainderless fading away and cessation of that same craving, the giving up and relinquishing of it, freedom from it, nonreliance on it."
"This is the noble truth of the way leading to the cessation of dukkha: it is the Noble Eightfold Path; that is, right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration." [11][b][c]
Genesis Chapter 2:8. And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden from the east, and He placed there the man whom He had formed.
9. And the Lord God caused to sprout from the ground every tree pleasant to see and good to eat, and the Tree of Life in the midst of the garden, and the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil...
15. Now the Lord God took the man, and He placed him in the Garden of Eden to work it and to guard it.
16. And the Lord God commanded man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat.
17. But of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it, for on the day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die."
the blacks are undeniably littering but, like the gumby said, if it was whites it would be cigarette butts, tobacco chaw, and beer cans/bottles all over.
Ms. Smith insisted that the bumper sticker is not racist. I asked her about the "N" word, for which "nig" is the shortened version. "According to the dictionary [the N word] does not mean black. It means a low down, lazy, sorry, low down person. That's what the N word means."
in my personal experience, muslims are in practice no more adherent to chastity as prescribed by their formal religion than jews or catholics.
And do not go anywhere near zina (extramarital sexual intercourse): it is an outrage, and an evil path. (Qur'an 17:32)
22. If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel. 23. If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; 24. Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
